Working with the team of biologist Dr. Alan Harvey and artist GSU Professor Jeff Schmuki, Wendy received a 2019 Georgia Southern Center for Sustainability Grant to create Biology themed murals about pollen. Using a scanning electron microscope the images were digitally collected and then colorized in photo editing software. The resulting murals, invite the community  to become part of the installation processes while also learning about the local types of pollen and their benefits.​ This project has currently been placed in three separate locations, including the Biology Buildings of AU and GSU.
