Our visual perception can not always be trusted. What we see when we look at the world is not always what is there. Eyes cannot see what lies behind facades of many different types. Many of our cultural influences including, advertisers, designers, museums use visual “slight of hand” to their benefit. I want to encourage everyone to look beyond what they think they see, to investigate and rationalize and to explore more than the given. I play tricks with my audiences visually so that it is clear that eyes have their limitations.
